50th ANNIVERSARY PASS-OUT REUNION
Reports and Pictures - March Past at Cosford 26th July 2006

ON PARADE AGAIN

When, while planning the reunion, Reg White suggested a short parade there was some scepticism. In the event it proved to be a memorable experience.

The main square of 50 years ago, where we learned to march, is now a car park and a smaller square on the site of the old Hinaidi West Hangar is now used for drill. This is where over forty of us assembled watched by the Ladies.

To add a touch of realism, Cpl Gareth Doody, a DI in the RAF Regiment at Cosford, supervised proceedings as we formed two flights before the march past and salute taken by Group Captain Gary Fletcher, Officer Commanding No1 School of Technical Training.

Cpl Doody took charge of No1 Flight and, reverting to his rank of 50 years ago, Flt Sgt BE Richard Broadbent led No2 Flight.
