REUNION DINNER

Present at the reunion dinner were forty two boys from the 24th Entry with twenty eight ladies and guests from Royal Air Force Cosford - Group Captain Gary Fletcher with Mrs Becky Fletcher and Sqn Ldr Vic Kinnin with Mrs Wendy Kinnin.

Joe Kendrick said Grace and after dinner Dave Ragless proposed the toast to "The Queen" and Joe Kendrick the toast to "Absent Friends".

Reg White outlined arrangements for the remainder of the reunion and suggested some possibilities for future 24th Entry reunions, including a visit to 24 Squadron, at Lyneham, in February 2007.

Fred Watkins proposed a toast to the Roal Air Force and our Guests from Cosford before inviting Group Captain Gary Fletcher to speak.

Gary Fletcher gave a sparkling, poetic and well-researched speech which was much appreciated by all present and concluded with the toast: "The Royal Air Force's 24th Boy Entry - who were clearly the best." Text of the Speech

After dinner there was the usual chat, reminiscences and lamp-swinging.
