Reports and Pictures - Visit to National Memorial Arboretum,
Alrewas

The arboretum
is at Alrewas, is near Litchfield. After refreshments we were invited to the
Millennium Chapel for a short introductory talk about how the arboretum was
created and plans for its future development. We then headed for the Boy Entrant
Memorial where many informal photo calls took place.
Earlier 'Boys' not already in receipt of the HM Armed Forces Veterans lapel badge filled in the necessary application form and before we left these were presented by the Arboretum Director, David Childs. Ron Tillotson's wife Margery, and Bryan Simmons wife Joan, also received badges having served in the WRAF. About the Veterans Badge
