Boy Entrants of the 24th Entry in the trades of Engine, Airframe, Instrument, Electrical and Armament Mechanics moved from Cosford to St Athan in August 1955 and completed their training in July 1956.

The Move to St Athan

There has been some confusion about the colours of the chequered hatbands worn by Boy Entrants St Athan after the move. This is now resolved by a report in a St Athan magazine following the move. Extracts from St Athan magazine:
