60th ANNIVERSARY 1955 - 2015

Reunion Events held during February 14th - 16th 2015

PM : Arrive at the Hotel, meet up with old friends.

18:30: Assemble in bar for pre-dinner drinks.

19:00: 60th Anniversary Reunion Dinner in a banqueting suite at the Hotel.

09:30: Board coach for travel to RAF Cosford and for a service in the Station Church, at 10:30, including remembering colleagues from the 24th on 'final posting'.

12:00 - 16:00: Board coach for visit to Aerospace Museum, Cosford. Leisurely visit to the museum and aircraft on display before returning to the hotel.

19:00: Assemble in banqueting suite for evening, including an interesting presentation by Mike Pezet about Jersey under the German occupation during WW2 (Mike lived on the island during this time). Buffet supper.

09:30: Travel by own car for visit to RAF Cosford.

10:00: Board coach for travel while on the Station. Briefing about Station history and current training role. Visit to the training hangars for avionics and mechanical engineering.

12:00: Short visit to the Station Church, and an opportunity look at the Boy Entrant Book of Remembrance..

12:30: Board coach for 'windscreen' tour of RAF Cosford, including a stop at the Fulton Block accommodation memorial for photographs.

13:00: Lunch served in the Fulton Block dining hall.

14:00: Leave RAF Cosford. Conclusion of reunion, good-byes and depart.
